In our use case, POM is just as strong as aluminum but a lot lighter. This helps with the longevity of the gearbox and allows you to cycle faster. If you want to shoot around the 30-45 rps range, anywhere from 1-1.7 joules, this piston head is recommended. The only exception is if your dmr build requires you to use a heavier piston + piston head combo.
